- Ed Bond is project director on canine distemper for Kind Hearts In Action. He is a former copy editor and page designer at the Star-Gazette in Elmira, where he had been a reporter in the early 1990s. He has also written for the Asbury Park Press in New Jersey, the Indianapolis Star and the Los Angeles Times. While living in California, he taught journalism and advised college newspapers for six years. He has a master's degree in journalism from Indiana University. His Web site is at www.edbond.com.
